Historically, certain groups have been excluded from doing so, and we believe the time is here for all to be included in every aspect of the church’s life and ministries. About Us

Our church is located at 3131 NW 50 Street in Oklahoma City. Click here for a map. We share space with Mosaic Community Church. We are welcoming and affirming congregations where people from all places and situations in life can find a safe place to worship.

Our Beliefs

Our United Methodist tradition calls us to be followers of Jesus who regard others, even all of creation, with great care, to work for justice, for equality, for peace.

We also provide ongoing opportunities for learning more about our faith tradition. We recognize that the faith is always changing depending on the circumstances of the needs of our society.

Land Acknowledgement: Mayfair Heights United Methodist welcomes all and acknowledges that the land on which we meet is, was, and always be native land. This land was once inhabited by the Spiro peoples. We acknowledge those indigenous tribes to Oklahoma: the Wichitas, Caddos, Plains Apaches, Comanches, and the Quapaw’s, as the original custodians of the land in this place. We respect those who came here as a result of the Trail of Tears: the Choctaw, Cherokee, Creek, Chickasaw and Seminole people. We grieve the violence done to native language, culture, and personhood and we gratefully celebrate those who continue to make their home here today, especially the 39 tribes who call Oklahoma home.
